Im looking to replace my automatic transmission in my 01 civic 1.7 as it has gone.
What transmissions can i replace it with?
i found a 01 acura el 1.7 transmission would it work?

Yes, the EL transmission will work.
The EL and Civic are essentially the same car, just slightly different interiors and bodys.
