Climate control bezel

So about 3 years ago some ***** decided he wanted my $120 dollar head unit and did a number on the bezel prying it out. Not to mention breaking my window. I never claimed it on insurance b/c of a $500 deductible, I just fixed the window. The damage to the bezel has annoyed me for quite some time.

I found this on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/01-05-Honda-...item3a605b5139

First off, at the very bottom where the blower speed control is, they removed the circle thing with all the markings. Do these snap in and out easily? I can re-use the ones in my current bezel as they are in good condition. It also looks like this came from an LX with blue lights so it would be easier if I could just use mine instead of messing with the film.

2nd, I have door under the stereo, not a slot. I can just remove that and put it in the new bezel right?

Re: Climate control bezel

the ebay one should push right in. it has a different radio trim kit but you can pop that out and use the pocket and upper trim if you want. you can reuse the old ***** and dials, they simply pop out and push in. the button and dial modules also unscrew from the bezel if needed.

Ahh sweet that's what I hoped. I'm not sure if I'll swap out the radio kit or not, I'll have to look at it when it arrives. I generally don't like the radio install kits because the colors never match the bezel. Plus I like the door.

It'll be nice to get this fixed, my interior will be perfect again. Not bad for $30.

i actually like that particular metra kit it comes with. its the best as far as fit and finish. not a perfect match, its more of a black.
