Overheating problem
Overheating problem
I was driving home the other day after about 70 miles of driving the whole day. it was very hot out as well, 80-90 degrees. i was on my way home and my car overheated all the way to the H. I pulled over and noticed that coolant had sprayed all over my motor. I also noticed that the coolant overflow hose had blew off. the thermostat is about 50,000 miles used, so i purchased a new radiator cap and bled the system, no bubbles and it seemed find. today i was driving about 10 miles and the same the heater stopped blowing hot air and my temp slowly started to rise. i pulled over and the overflow hose blew off again and sprayed coolant all over the motor. the fans are working when i turn the a/c on, there are no bubbles in the radiator when i bled the system. what could be the problem, the car was fine just a week ago and now this happened. the main question i have is, why is the coolant overflow hose blowing off and causing all of the coolant to spray over the motor. thanks...
