2001 Civic odometer reading all 8's
Hi just joined the forum. Bought a used Civic last week and am noticing that on occasion the odometer reads all 8's - kind of randomly. AND it appears that when it does that, the gas gauge also moves to about 3/4 full position.
Already replaced the transmission shift sensor (the dash board wasn't registering Park which meant couldn't remove the key - great fun!).
Any thoughts, suggestions, trouble-shooting ideas would be greatly appreciated.
