Angry 2001 EX idle, tps, and ecm issues...help!

I have been working on this one for a while now...its starting to drive me absolutely insane.

5 codes, two tps, one vss, one ecm, and one vtec.

Vtec does not kick in like it should, jumps spuratically after 4.5k.
TPS codes have gone away with the vtec code after I ran oil sys cleaner through it. They came back.

VSS I'm not even worried about right now. Weird thing, is it usually isnt on even though the speedo never works. For some reason, the ecm just now decided to throw the code.

The ecm code is the barometric pressure sensor circuit. What the hell is that.

Now, heres the story...(and ill post the actual codes 2maro, autozone is closed here right now). Last night I was driving a pretty good distance from Cottonwood AZ to Phoenix again. I dont have a radio, and I somehow discovered that in the crevice that is the hole where it used to be, there are some dangling wires. One of those wires touched something metal, and it shorted my small lights fuse. Keep in mind the 5 codes are still on. Car is still messed up. So, without knowing how to recet the ecm, I change the small lights fuse, and take out the ecm fuse for god knows what reason. Car was off, lights were on, no keys in ignition. SO I put it back, and start the car. No check engine light. Woohoo! I drive about 2 minutes (with the car running great) and it comes back...all five reporting again. (checked once I got into town).

I then read up on how to reset the ecm to relearn the idle (car idling at 1400 w/ codes). So, I take the ecm fuse out with no acc on, no car on, after warming it, put it back and turn it on to let it idle. The light will be off for about 4 seconds, then go back on, and start idling high again. Why did the fuse cause it to idle normally last night when I did this, but not today?

I am so lost. And so frustrated. If there is any way to avoid buying a 300 dollar tb because of hondas lame riveted in TPS, I would love it. Or does anyone know how to take the tps out and get a new one in without damaging anything? Andy's sells my TPS for like 28 bucks.

Also...I had run like 91 in it a couple times like a dumbass thinking it would be better. I have now read up on it and will only use 87...but its been prolly 2 or 3 fillups since then with 87. Could that have caused any of this?

And lastly, I'm lame and instead of forking out the money to get a new exhaust to replace my fudged and hole-y muffler, I got a cheap *** glasspack straight tube. Could this cause any of the issues? ecm trying to learn how to compensate for greater exhaust rate?

BE nice please...I'm learning...I feel like I need to go to college just to learn how to keep my fking car running the way I want it to...

Any pointing in the right direction or help would be awesome. Ive kinda scoured whats on here and havnt found anything thats actually worked. I want my civic back!

Thanks guys..

[EDIT] Okay, so I found some and read up. HA. As for the tps issues, could the codes its throwing simply be caused by dirty sensors? Or if its throwing codes should I just replace it?

I'm going to do down the list of stuff described in the sticky...I just feel like its got to be the ecm or the tps codes that are causing it. I'm sorry to bombard with questions just getting so frustrated. I'll try to use whats info I found but any additional comments or help would still be appreciated..
