Engine shutting off at will
Engine shutting off at will
I removed the transmission from my 2003 5 speed civic LX a couple weeks ago to replace some bearings in it. I took it out the bottom and everything went back together fine. Or so I thought.
Now when I drive it, it will run fine for a few kilometers and then the engine shuts off, and will not start again unless I wait several hours. I took a look at everything underneath the car and the hood, all the fittings and groundings SEEM to be in the right spot.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause my engine to shut off after a few km's? It runs quite well during that short stretch. I can hear some clicking when I move the clutch, but I doubt that's related.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
