01 Honda Civic EX with 137k Miles stutters at acceleration from 40->50->55

-Check engine light's on
-Jerks sometimes-pulling feeling
-Car starting to shake a bit when at a stop
-Stutters when accelerating on the freeway trying to pass 55, after reach 65 it stops
-Humming noise
-starting to hear a click click when let go of gas or break petals
-when gets wet, the car makes a screeching noise
-car picks up slower than before after a stop, feels like engine is weak
-starting to notice that at first gear, car picking up, the rpm thing goes up way fast into 2nd

My brother thought it was the sparks plugs, changed that and car ran good for a week and now check engine light is back on again with the same symptoms.

Please tell me what's wrong with it and tell me it's nothing too bad. -_-

Screeching is one of the belts slipping. Even when wet it shouldn't screech tho. This could be caused by a bad belt, bad belt tension; alternator, power steering, or compressor/clutch seizing up.

Some of the other symptoms make it sound like it's running lean which could be caused by a bad cat or fuel pump/filter problems so, you really need to scan for codes. It's free at autozone. Post up the EXACT code and we can go from there.
