How to disable the ABS light???
Here's the deal, I have a 2002 civic DX, about 5 years ago I installed the cluster from a 2005 (insert model with abs here)
After rewiring the cluster, my abs light stayed on as well as a couple others, but i didnt really care
I recently got pulled over and now I have to pass a mechanical inspection before my car can be plated
One of the things the inspection mechanic told me was my lights in the dash gotta go
Thing is, my car doesn't have abs, so the light will stay on regardless. Is there a bulb I can remove in the back? If so, how?
I was thinking of just going with just the ABS light lit, and explain to the mechanic that my car never came with abs, or worst case try to put black tape from inside the plasic lens and pull a fast one =/

Re: How to disable the ABS light???
a friend of mine suggested maybe try to wire the abs wire to the oil pressure wire, that way when the oil light goes off, so will the abs light. any truth to this?
