Slow crank, no-start after stereo work
Hello Civic forum,
Yesterday, I installed a new aftermarket stereo in the dash of my '02 civic coupe. Per instructions, I disconnected the negative battery terminal during work. Now, the starter cranks very slowly (about 4 revs per second), the lights flicker, and the car will not start.
I understand that this is a common problem, but I seem to have exhausted the basic tips for solving this kind of issue. I've done the following:
The only thing I have not yet done is drop tests on the battery connectors. What may I have missed?

I understand that this is a common problem, but I seem to have exhausted the basic tips for solving this kind of issue. I've done the following:
- Checked all fuses (both boxes)
- Jumped battery (started cranking fast but slowed down even while jumping)
- Checked battery voltage w/ multimeter (12.66v)
- Cleaned battery terminals and connectors
- Checked visible electrical wiring under the hood
The only thing I have not yet done is drop tests on the battery connectors. What may I have missed?
