size of spark plugs for 04 civic lx??

Hey guys wondering what sized spark plugs I need for my 2004 civic, also is there any point in stepping it up for more expensive ones.. Don't really wanna drop the extra cash on iridium but maybe double platinum? And do I need a spark plug wrench/socket or can I just use my standard socket set? Thanks

Get a 5/8 spark plug socket. They're about $5-10. You'll also need an extension for your ratchet too.

Better plugs are a must for continued fuel economy and they usually last a little longer. Gap for the plugs is 0.039-0.043 inches. If you get platinum plugs you can't adjust the gap as you will strip the platinum right off. Take it back and get another one.

*Remember that just because it says "pre-gaped" doesn't mean it got to you still pre-gaped.
