Angry Likely input shaft bearing... with video! 2005 Civic.

From what I've read, I have a bad or going bad ISB. I recorded it to see if you guys think that's the case:

How many miles?, I would say tob. Could be wrong, see what others say.

ill be tearing out the tranny in the spring to do an overhaul

I just watched this on my phone. And I think I have the exact same issue after completing my timing belt/drive belts/water pump.

Is the sound like a loose bearing (like something is loose), and during idle? The sound comes and goes?

I spent another 12 hrs trying to determine if it were my drive belts but the noise is coming from the bottom (deceivingly towards the front by the P/S belt & A/C belt area).

Is this the case of a bad bearing? And if so, just how hard is it to fix? ****, I don't want to spend any more time & money trying to fix this...dammit!

Nosepicker, call your local tranny place and see how much they would quote a main shaft bearing replacement, or overhaul since to get there you pretty much need to over haul the tranny
