P250B(168), P2185 (192-2), P2185($0710) Cause and solution

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, I've got a Honda Civic 2.2 cdti 2006. I'm getting the engine management light on and the have had the codes read. They are as following:

P250B (168) Engine oil level sensor range/performance problem
P2185 ($0710) Engine Collant temperature 2 circuit high
P2185 (192-2) ECT Sensor 2 circuit high voltage

I have checked the Coolant sensors and one of the sensors was corroded and damaged. I've replaced both sensors, but still get the bottom 2 codes. I checked the wiring and it seems good, although the bottom sensor housing could look better.

Any suggestions what to do?

Have you reset using a diagnostic tool?
