Help! Egr=cel
so i was tired and made a bad mistake tonight after changing my oil. i was planning on cleaning my egr valve on my 02 ex (d17a2) so i unplugged it and the smaller connector beside it. i got caught up doing other things and without plugging them back in i started my car. i could tell something was wrong by the sound, plus the CEL came on. i stopped the car, plugged the wires back in and restarted the car to see if the CEL went away. the car sounds normal again but the light is still on. no idea if i'm in limp mode yet. i'm hoping after i reset the ecu tomorrow the ecu will see that everything is plugged in and working. how ever, if the light is still on could a fuse have blown or an o2 sensor...or worse? ps: i have no idea what the smaller wire and connector does, the one right by the egr valve wire and connector.

Reset ECM/PCM. End of the first post: https://www.civicforums.com/forums/7...e-up-mods.html If that doesn't work have someone reset with a diagnostic tool.
