No VTEC
Hi guys,
My name is Dee and I'm from the UK. This is my first post as I've been searching the Internet for remedies I stumbled across this awesome forum!
My problem:
I have a 2005 Civic Type R K20a2 engine that has no Vtec
It will not rev above 5500 rpm.
I have checked the oil and it is fine.
Any suggestions are most welcomed.

Update:
Fixed.
It was due to the inlet pipe which feeds the airbox being blocked up!!? This was not letting enough air into the engine, effectively starving it...
PS there were no engine codes as the engine light was not on.
