01 Civic Shuts off when its hot outside?
Hello. I have an 01 civic which shuts off only when its hot outside. Everything is ok when you drive it, but then when you slow down and stop, the car shuts off but easily restarts again. What can be wrong with the car?

how does it shut off? do the rpms start to drop low and car shakes before turning off? or does it just cut off without warning...could just need to clean the idle air valve on the throttle body.

Yah it shakes a bit and rpms go to 200 or so and only happens when you stop and during the heat. When you restart the car and hit gas, rmps jump from 1 to 3 right away then back to one and car starts gaining speed like nothing is wrong with it, until you stop again.
