antifreeze flush
antifreeze flush
Had my 04 Civic inspected @ the end of March and the dealer mentioned having the antifreeze flushed. The car has 41K miles on it. The cost was $70.00. How often are you supposed to flush the antifreeze? thanks for your help
Re: antifreeze flush
Considering the cost of coolant is pretty darn cheap, and the job is easy, just do it yourself! Go out and buy some coolant, Prestone is good, mix it 50/50. Take your lower radiator hose off the radiator and let out all that coolant. Once it's done draining re-connect the hose and fill 'er back up. Of course this method leaves a little old coolant in the motor but who gives a ****, 95% of your coolant is now fresh and you spent a whopping $15 on a gallon of coolant.
