Transmission Noise

I read the sticky about the transmissions and their noises. I've just replaced the transmission in my 04 civic dx with an imported tranny from japan because of an input shaft bearing issue. the new tranny should have less than 65000 k (apparently). Everything was fine for the first month or so.. but now intermittently it sounds like someone has a playing card held into their bike spokes. It is very loud in first gear when you are accelerating less so in third and almost nothing in the latter gears. also if i use the engine to slow the car eg. releasing the clutch in first gear at 60 km, it makes a similar noise but seemingly more clear(less muffled by engine noise ect). I am tempted to say its the input bearing again but there is no growling noise like in the last one. I changed the transmission fluid (which is dark compared to the clear stuff from honda i put in a month ago but not as dark as used engine oil) there were also no metal shavings in the fluid (which there were when i replaced the first tranny) any idea guys?

Thnx
