bank one catalyst efficiency below threshold 04 civic vp coupe, ceck engine light comes on for a time,goes out, etc. manifold cracked year & 1/2 ago, replaced with after market, then came light, code po420, replaced precat o2 sensor with honda genuine, still get intermitten check eng. light, this has been going on over 1 year, & 60k miles. car runs fine at 243,000 miles, was told to change post cat o2 sensor, by a few people, but not sure, it's $240.00 from dealer, not a gambler!

it's the aftermarket manifold. The only way to get around it would be an o2 sim. or a OEM manifold. I sold my oem manifold for $50, i'm sure there's more on here. I have an aftermarket mani and i've just dealt with the light.
