What should I do? Help..
What should I do? Help..
Okay so long story short I have a 2001 Honda Civic EX Coupe and the transmission went out on 2/15/10 at 133k miles. The transmission finally got to the shop monday and they replaced it and I picked it up today after the transmission shop closed. I drove it off the lot and went down the highway a little and the check engine light came right back on.....
I took it to autozone to check the code and he said it had to deal with an Emissions leak and to take it to a shop to have them smoke it..
I went to my dealer (luckily they bought the trans and tacked it on to my bill) and he told me they replaced the trans and I'd have to get this new problem fixed on my own.. WTF
Shouldn't I take it back to the transmission shop tomorrow and tell them what happened... Or is there no way the transmission shop could have messed with anything that has to deal with emissions?

Thx for replies. Check engine light is now off.. I took it there, they looked at it and said something wasn't snapped in all the way and the light has stayed off since then.
Whew.
