Hey all,
I just got my car back (98 Honda Civic ex coupe) from sitting for two years.. There are alot of things that need work but foremost I am hearing a clicking when turning under power and I belive it is my CV joint.. Sound right? How costly and how much of a hastle is it to do?

I also need to replace my compressor belt.. how much of a pain will it be to do it myself?? any

well, after a little while looking, and about a half hour of work i replaced the a/c compressor belt.. and noticed a couple other issues to be worked out in the near future

its easy to check and see if the cv boots are torn and leaking grease. i would look under the car before assuming they are bad. but yeah usually clicking under acceleration while turning (and straight if it gets really bad) is from broken cv joints.

thanks man yeah I got under there to replace the compressor belt and the boots are indeed torn.. so new cv's it is I guess any tips on the replacement of the cv joints or any good diy threads??
