need help b16 crank no start
need help b16 crank no start
I have a 93 civic coupe with a b16a i currently swaped the b16 that i got with the car cause soon after i got it i had engine knock and soon the motor seized. I replaced it with another b16 block that had pr3 connecting rods and p30 piston heads. It came out of a running eg hatch before the guy put a k20 in his car that what the guy at the shop told me that sold the motor to me. It was sitting for about like 4 to 5 months before i finally had everything all together. The bottom end was jus refreshend up with a hone, new piston rings from total seal, and also new rod and main bearings from acl. I also put in a gsr oil put which has a higher quart per hour volume which i got from honda. and new water pump from honda and a rear main seal. I used the same stock head and intake manifold and everything else that was used on the car which ran great before the rod knock. I have reset the timing many times, i have spark and fuel, my fuel pressure is good. It cranks but no start.
I was wondering if my p28 ecu would have to be reprogramed cause i disconnected the engine harness. The ecu is running a Base map off of a stock b16 setting for obd1
