forgot key
hi
my honda civic 2003 didn't make any sound when i stop the engine, and it happens to me to forget the key and close the doors
without spare key ,twice i call taxi driver to open it(30$ charge)
is it normal?
can i make a duplicate key and use it to open door in case?
the dealer charge 150$+taxes
anybody has any clue?
please help

Re: forgot key
yes you can get a generic key made for $2 without the programming chip but it can only be used to open the doors, not start the car. most place like drug store, home depot, key shop, or locksmith can do it.
