Weird problem with my '04 Civic LX
Hi,
I have a '04 Civic LX with automatic transmission and 68K miles. Recently, my car has started to vibrate when I put on the brakes to stop. The vibration is quite vigorous when I start out but it decreases a lot after I have driven it for a while (say about 10-15 minutes). Also, it has now started to vibrate when I put the car into reverse gear. I took it to a Honda dealer and they said that it is normal and could happen because of the cold weather or using bad gas (which didn't make sense to me at all cause I have driven it before in even more severe weather and I always use BP). Also, sometimes when I try to accelerate, it takes a couple of seconds before the car actually accelerates.
Do you think it might be a problem with the fuel injectors and the engine is not getting enough gas? Should I use some additivites in the gas tank to clear out any deposits which might have formed? Or do u think it might be some problem with transmission? I hear sounds when I change the gear to reverse (which I assume is the auto transmission changing gears). They also checked the rotors and brake pads and said both are fine.
Thanks in advance!

might be a bad engine/trans shared mount in the front. by vibrating, do you mean just shaking, or is the rpm going too low. might need new spark plugs too, maybe its misfiring.
