Re: power steering reservoir cracked
just get a new one. you shouldve used plastic weld to seal the crack tho. over time it will start leaking again.
Re: power steering reservoir cracked
hmmm i am trying to look for this part online, but it seems no one has it. its just a piece of plastic container and honda will charge me 160 for it. any idea where i can find it?
Re: power steering reservoir cracked
so can i get the plastic part, and replace it with the cracked part,,,then pour the oil in? do i need to do other thing? like one of my friend was telling me,,as all the oil leaked out. there might be air bubble inside, and it might hurt my power steering system. when i pour the oil in.

Re: power steering reservoir cracked
replace it with a new one, fill the reservoir up to max, then drive around til the car warms up and go to an empty parking lot and do 5-10 full turns in each direction (til the wheel locks). that will get rid of air and also cycle the fluid. when you get home, park on flat ground and refill the fluid to the max line once the car cools down. you will prolly need to refill it a second time.
