Re: D17 swap No EGR to EGR

Waaait a minute here. I just went up and looked at a couple posts again....
Better refresh my memory on this.

Oh hell, you're not even the OP? Thread hijack. Now I'm really lost

Car is 04 LX and had auto trans?
You've got an 03 D17A2 engine with manual trans in it now?
04 harness for auto trans?
03 ECM for D17A1 with manual trans?

Let me know more. Was anything done with the AF sensor power relay? What sensors is it using now?

Re: 04 Honda Civic P0401 Code

thanks ezone, i'd really appreciate your advice on how to proceed.
04 DX original everything incl. auto transmission except for 03 engine dropped in. not sure exact what 03 engine it is, but no EGR port.

how do i go about plugging in an EGR? it starts w/ a different gasket but i've still no idea where the EGR is going to plug in. does it fit under the valve cover plastic on top of the engine?
i'm a total hack mechanic and barely know what i'm talking about, but i can do things with my hands!

but i've still no idea where the EGR is going to plug in.
What year is the engine wiring harness from?

Doesn't matter what used to be attached to the replacement engine, you need to change over enough parts off the original to keep the computer happy.
Where is your original engine now? You need to get the necessary parts from it. (refer to posts from 2015 in this thread)

EGR valve is the round thing with the wires and a blue sticker...you need it, and the housing it is bolted to.
