2001 02 Sensor Replacement
2001 02 Sensor Replacement
I just bought a 2001 Civic 4 cylinder. I have a check engine light and the seller had just replaced the upper 02 sensor. He installed a Bosch sensor which I have heard is a sensor that always fails.
The engine runs great and the guy who sold it told me he thinks it is the lower sensor since the engine does run great.
Should I try replacing the lower sensor first?
Is it easy to replace the lower sensor?
Thanks1

Re: 2001 02 Sensor Replacement
I've heard Bosch sensors are good. Go to autozone or checker (wherever parts are sold) and use their obd scanner. This will tell you what's going on and where. It may not even be the o2 sensor....

you need to figure out what youre doing first. and bosch is a great sensor, in fact its a rebadged NTK, which is exactly the same as oem honda.
