Just bought an '01 ex and need advice.
so i need to replace my timing belt and water pump, and also add engine mounts. are there any alternative upgrades possible? meaning things that will accomplish the same task, but be better, like coilovers compared to springs and strutts. id like suggested brand names and whether i should let my mechanic do the work or if its worth doing myself. thanks guys!

stick with honda parts. energy suspension sells motor mount inserts, but they will cause more vibration.
