right now it sounds like a water pump issue, but could also be the head gasket if you let it run while the gauge was hot. overheating will definately blow the gasket.

thats guys i appreciate responses, if water pump was bad would i have to keep adding water to it ? because i dont see any leaks, maybe i should get a pressure test

No, U dont have to add water if ur water pump is bad, But if ur car over heats then it should be water pump...
