I got a 1998 civic dx and I want to know if I can add the air conditioner on it. Anyone did it ? Is it easy ??

Well I have a 2002 Civic si hatchback and I just had my compressor and all the trimings replaced by a friend and it was a major pain in the butt! He had to pull the radiator fan and the entire front bumper off, but I'm not sure about your year and model... sorry!

[B]I have another a/c question though...[B] my a/c from day one will cycle between blowing cold air and then warm air... and when it's really hot outside it sucks! Seriously, a $19,000 fine tuned piece of machinery and the a/c system is terrible???? is there something else wrong like a faulty temp switch or something? Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Oh yeah, this problem occurs even if I'm on the highway with cruise control on... day or night too.....? Thanks!

Sounds like a pressure problem and the high or low pressure switch is kicking it on and off. My kia had issues and I just bought the kit from checker and topped it off and it worked great.
