I would like to know what I need to get done for the 60,000 service on my 2004 Honda Civic LX.

I change the oil and filter every 3,000 miles
I've change the Cabin Filter a year ago
The front break pads and rotors have been replaced in the last six months
The tires have been replaced in the last six months
NO TRANSMISSION FLUSH
NO COOLANT FLUSH

My mechanic wants to do the following for $439.00
A. 22 point inspection
B. Replace the Spark Pugs
C. Replace the Air Filter
D. Replace the Cabin Filter
E. Replace the Engine Filter
F. Valve Clearance Inspection
G. Computer Spin Balance (I think I can get that done for free at Discount Tire since I purchased the tires there).
H. Flush the Coolant Green
I. Transmission Service (Drain the Transmission)
J. Transfer Case Service
K. Fuel System Clean

NOTE: I HAVE AN EXTENDED WARANTEE. WILL IT VOID THE THE WARANTEE IF I DO WHAT IS NEEDED MYSELF?

I don't want to be cheap but I also don't want to spend unnecessary money.

no it should not void any warranty. all i would do is spark plugs, air filter, cabin filter, coolant, trans fluid. engine filter? no idea what that is. and valve adjustment usually isnt needed for 100k miles if even that.

spark plugs $8 for ngk vpower
air filter $15 for napa gold
cabin filters (set of 2) $20 napa gold
coolant $15 from honda parts
trans fluid $25 from honda parts

thats well under $100 using excellent quality products if you do it yourself.

I would just inspect the suspension components myself or if there isnt a problems such as noises then no worries. People drive their civics well over 100K without doing any major maintenance. But definitely do sparkplugs.
