can someone help me diagnose this problem? when the car is on and not moving the fans does not turn on. it also does not turn on even with the ac on. the temperature would rise almost near hot. the strange thing is sometimes it would turn on if i turned off the engine and leave the key on the accessories position.


the other issue is on a cold start the car would missfire.

does anyone know what could be wrong or can point me into the right direction.

Well fan should rarely come on when driving. Its only supposed to come one if the radiator doesnt get enough air through it to cool it off. It it wont turn on at all I would check for wiring connection issues. Does your car have a Check engine light on? If so I would start there... Sounds like a sensor is out of wack.
