This one may make some of you cry, but I'm looking to tow with my 2003 SIR (hatchback) and wondering if anyone has any input on capacity and what to worry about hurting. I have no doubt it has enough pull to tow up to 1500lbs, maybe even 2000lbs and I'm not concerned about braking or handling seeing how I've towed 1500+ with a CRX and an earlier model hatch Si before, no issues for handling or braking

What I'm wondering is what is the weak link in the drive train, in particular do I have to worry about the tranny. I know autos can suffer from overheating, but what about standards? Actually the tranny is pretty much the only concern I have
