work to do
work to do
I have a 1995 Honda Civic DX Special 1.5L (no V-tec) Coupe, 331 000km, automatic, air-conditioning, power steering. I have a head gasket problem; coolant is mixing with the oil- so she burns it off before all pistons can fire, every time I start the car. She burns coolant way too fast, and she's been burning oil too. I have the Haynes book and all tools needed, and 2 people who know more about cars than I do who can help.
We plan to replace the gasket and hope there are no more problems under the hood, fingers crossed! The timing belt was replaced mid 2003, so that's good.
I'm wondering if there is anything I should know, or anything I should look out for when replacing the gasket. Anything important?! Any advice will help, thanx.
