Keyless Entry

- hey, coming home from work i stop at a local grocery story to pick something. on my way out, i drop my keys. as i go to pick them up, i notice the keyless entry thing is missing. it came loose off the key ring. i'm like wtf? so i think the drop cause the thing to break loose but there was nothing on the ground.
- can the honda dealership replace it and if they can do u know how much its gonna cost?

Well, warranty does not cover something you lost. But any honda dealership can reprogram them to your car. The remotes are about 65 bucks each.

- damn 65 bucks? i know my parents have the spare with the other keyless entry. they'll probably be pissed off that i lost the damn thing.
- i hope no one finds it and tries to unlock all the honda's here. they look pretty stupid but you never know. they might actaually come across my car.

Don't worry about the lost remote. You have to take your parents remotes with you, as they will delete all the other remotes. So only your parents and your new one will work on your car.

ya you need one of the original remotes to program the new one, I got another and they only charged me $45 + tax, not so bad considering my dads BMW key costs around $300

you can order the remotes from H and A Accessories, they are cheaper there and i think they have instructions on how to program it yourself
