I got a 2001 Civic DX, 5 Speed. 122K, Everything stock, except entertainment. I noticed one thing, it runs like **** when its cold outside, once warmed up it is fine. My gears do not shift smooth, I feel that one of my wheels is out of round kind of sensation.

But once it has warmed a little, every thing is back to normal. I changed my manual tranny fluid at 110K as requested as well as spark plugs (genuine OEM only on all) and keep up with reg maintenance. Can not lay my fingers on it....

not so smooth shifting...ok oil is a little thick cause its cold outisde(17deg). What about that funny sensation, wheel being out of round, is it problem with my clutch when cold or something else.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

It's normal. Happens to all the cars I drove, even the automatics (gears won't even change sometimes). Just drive like a grandma until it warms up.

Also, I let me car warm up at least 1 minute before driving in the winter. No more, no less.
