Rear Bumper Paint Difference
I thought I might add to the problem list....
I purchased my Silver HX in June 2001... The day I went to pick it up, there was a scratch down the rear bumper.... The dealer said that I would have to wait until tomorrow to pick up the car, so they could fix the scratch...
The next day I pick up my car... looks good so I think...
Around a week or so later, I see my car in good sunlight and it seemed that my bumper was a slightly diff. color, I thought no big deal it's close enough.
About 3 days ago I decide to finally get around to removing the stock mud guards... low and behold, the paint behing ONE of the mudguards is the original paint (prior to the scratch repair), and the other side matches the bumper....
hmmmm I thought, was someone that lazy to take off only ONE of the mudguards to paint???
Anyways I called up the dealer I got the car from, and after I went through 3 people, (finally got to the Service Manager), they agree to repaint the bumper
.
At least they are willing to fix their mistake.
