Removing fenders, rear bumper?

Hey guys...

It has been a long time. Anyway,

Over the past few months i have had some horrible luck. I had a hit and run on my rear bumper. It needs to be replaced. I want to know how to remove it safely. I searched but could not find a topic for this.

Also... 2 days ago. I had another incident with Bambi. (my 4th deer)

Destroyed my brand new bumper(so i need a new front one), i have that under control. I know how to remove and install that. Also cracked my headlight on my passenger side and dented my fender in big time.

I am wondering how i remove the fender safely to put the replacement on.

Thanks in advance! Sorry if any of this has been posted anywhere else.

Re: Removing fenders, rear bumper?

it is really straight forward. if you allready know how to take out the front cover, the rear is fairly the same, make sure you take out the 10mm bolt on the inside part next to the taillights thats covered by an oval trim piece. there are clips under the cover too.

as far as the light goes, one on top, one on side (fender) and one on the other side underneath the headlight.

once the light is out, take out the plastic clips that hold the splash shield to the fender, take out the three 10mm bolts on top and two on the side (open door to see). For the buttom bolt, you'll have to remove the side skirt to get to it.

to remove the side skirt, take out the plastic clips from under neath the skirt and push the skirt forward from the rear of the car to the front.

hope this hlps you out.
