my SRS light came on yesterday and i read the code when i came home though the light. it was 4 realy short blinks then off, 4 realy short blinks then off, one long blink, off then one medieum long blink shorter than the 3rd but 2x as long as the first / seccond.

according to the manual that = 21-1 code but only the side airbag units go up to i think 15-x.

so i erased it. today coming home form work it happened again. same code. am i interpriting it wrong? is it posible to have a code that dosent exist?

car is a 2002 civic EX coupe w/o side airbags

well i didnt know the srs light blinked, but if the light is coming on, theres an actual problem with the airbags. either connections are loose or something else. unless you had to jump start the car recently. but if its coming back tells me theres a problem. and i think the only place that diagnoses airbags is dealer.

well it dosent flash normaly. i jumped pin 4 and 9 in the obd2 conector grounding the SCS signal. that outputs obd1 codes though the lights.

i called my shop teacher and he didnt know eather. none of this car databases had anyting. i realy dont wana go to the dealer and pay $90 for a fat gut to come out and sat theres noting wrong with it. ( dealerships **** me off )
