Startup problem - Dead then Starts
Startup problem - Dead then Starts
So this morning I started up my car and the electrical was fine until I had the key turned to start the ignition and then it died completely. I removed the key did it again same thing, electrical seems fine, then when its about to start it dies. After it dies the needles on the gauges shake like there is some sort of electrical short/problem.
The third time I tried it started but it sounded as if it was struggling.
What is also weird is that I had the exact same problem two weeks prior, it stopped so I wasn't too concerned and was going to keep an eye on it but now I am wondering what I should do.
Any ideas on what the problem may be?
What I've done so far:
Fuses under the dash are fine.
Connections to battery terminals seem fine.
I don't have an amplifier or anything like that. The only things electrical that I have that aren't stock are HID's, a head unit, radar detector, and navigation.
