ex ecu in lx

last weekend my ecu messed up on me.. long story short i replaced it with an ex ecu i have that im going to be using for a vtec headswap. so after i put it in and got it reflashed the engine light came on and threw 2 codes.. i knew it was going to throw the vtec code but it also threw a egr valve code.. the 01-03lx do not have a egr valve..Now im wondering where does the egr valve bolt up and what do i need to make it work properly? i know what the valve does and where it is.. is there any way i can get rid of the code without getting an egr valve?

Re: ex ecu in lx

sometimes you can cheat the ecu by just plugging in the missing component into the harness, at least on B series not so sure about the big bad D17 though.
