03 civic 5 spd trans noise when cold
If you drive away when the car is cold, you get some whining out of the transmission, only in 1st and 2nd, after that the road noise seems to drown it out....
it's there whether you have the clutch in or out but the car has to be moving...and it seems as soon as the transmission warms up / the noise is gone. It has 158000km and haven't done the timing belt yet but i can't see that being an issue with this noise.
Can anyone help diagnose the problem??
