Squeaking Exhaust??

Hey all,

I have a 2004 Honda Civic Reverb, I recently replaced my stock exhaust with a Magnaflow system and had it installed a couple months ago..

Pretty much since it was installed whenever I'd come to a stop I'd hear this squeaking noise coming from underneath the car. It's not the belts or anything as I've checked and it only squeeks when I'm in Drive (automatic) if i shift to Neutral at a stop the sounds stops and if I put it back into Drive the sound immediately comes back.. and this only happens when the engine is idling and not when I start to drive again...

This happens 50% of the time when I stop.. Any advice to help get rid of this annoying squeeking would be appreciated..

Re: Squeaking Exhaust??

Your noise is coming from the attachment point before your rear axle. To fix find some high temp. rubber washers and high temp. axle grease for the spring points. Same for the connection point after the exhaust mani / cat.
