need your 2 cents worth..
heyy all.. im new to this site so bear with me for a few moments.. im currently own a 2005 crv ( paid for) which i want to trade it for a 2008 civic si but i can get a civic 2003 lx for free as a trade in fron my parents as it has way less mileage than my crv.
my 05 V is worth 13gs for a trade in, it stands 50ks, im looking for a faster car, yea yea i know civic isnt a fast car, as well i used to be a g35 owner myself, so which option should i go with?
A- TRADE IN MY V FOR THE SI, HOOK IT UP STEP BY STEP
B- TAKE THE 2003 CIVIC, SAVE THE 8GS I WOULD HAVE SPENT TRADING MY V FOR A NEW SI, SWAP ENGINES,PERHAPS A TURBO.

Re: need your 2 cents worth..
Depends on what you want.
Test drive them both. What dont you like about the 7th gen vs the 8th gen... on the 7th, you can pretty much change anything now a days- your suspension options are practicly limitless, and you can turbo it or just roll how it it. It can def be faster then your old G35.
If you want to get a 8th gen, you can pretty much do the same stuff, but your going to have to wait for some more parts to come out. You can swap the engine and turbo it as well.
I guess they are pretty much the same- break it down to styling and if you rather have your car hooked up now, or the styling and the money are going to need to be weighed in the decision if you want to go for the 8th gen.
ask yourself what you want.
