cv joint or not?

Question cv joint or not?

i have a 2003 civic ex,it just started making a clicking noise when you turn to the right at slow speed,so i checked the boots on both axles and they are good.also forgot to mention it doesn,t do it all the time.the car has 80,000 miles on it and the suspension is stock,anybody got any ideas

did you check both inner and outer boots? usually slung grease around the area are good indicators of worn or torn boots.

yes l checked the boots on both axles,no grease.i did some checking and found out there was a tsb bulletin from honda on this problem,the reverse idler gear is making contact with the1st/2nd hub sleeve in the trans.so i guess i will go argue with the dealer to get it fixed.thanks for the help
