Another window thread...
Okay so I searched around a bit but couldn't find an exact answer. I have an 04 lx sedan and all the windows roll up and down really slow. Now they all seem to be at slightly different speeds. Now i'm pretty sure that it's not a wire or a relay or something of that sort because they all roll up and down slow. Basic electrical knowledge leads me to believe that it's the window motors. Can anyone give me a solid confirmation or refute this? I hate going to the dealership because it's always super crowded and I don't like to look like I don't know what i'm talking about lol.
Also if it is the motors are there seperate motors for the front and rear windows or is it just one or what. Clarification would be great.
Also are all Civics such low-quality or just 7th gens? Jesus, I miss my Prelude.

Re: Another window thread...
There is a 1 motor per window.
I would check the voltage of the battery. Then roll the window down and spray some lithium grease in the track. Do not use WD-40 or a product like that Use lithium. After you apply the lube roll the window up and down a couple of times. This should help you out. If the problem persists it is the motor. Just seams awfully weird that ll the motors are going out at the same time.

Thanks for the tip, I'll probably try that. As for the motors going bad the car is 4 years old and used to be a rental. Also living in Hawaii the windows are rolled up and down multiple times almost everyday since I'm too much of a jewbagel to use the AC often.
