i want to take out the center portion of my dash for some custom work/etc. are there any DIY? if this is the wrong forum im sorry. its my first time in here.

OK here what you do.... Pop the cigerette/ socket adapter panel out and unclip the wire.. You will see two screws inside there going up into center piece of your dash. remove those two screws. then use a dash seperator or a really wide flat head screw driver to pop the center out... when you do this the climate control and vents and deck are all going to come out.unclip the wires from the climate control boxes and deck. It should be completely out. if your putting in a new deck just unscrew the screws from both sides and it will slide right out
