grinding noise from clutch
grinding noise from clutch
I have a 2005 civic manual. When I press in the clutch to change gears, I hear a very slight metallic grinding noise. I can only hear it when I have the windows down. Is this just the normal noise of the clutch releasing? Or could this be something different. I haven't noticed the noise until recently. The car only has 29,000 miles on it. Thanks.
Re: grinding noise from clutch
You're clutch doesn't grind. Your clutch is made from an "organic" material, not metal. It sounds like your syncros to me. You may need to have them replaced, machined or pick up a new tranny.
