manual trans shifting issue

hey everyone, i gotta 01ex manual, and it seems when the car warms up the shifting gets tighter. it doesnt slide into gear easily, it takes some force. when i shift from gear to gear it seems like its sticking somewhere, but there is resistance in it. if anyone can help your advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Re: MANUAL TRANS STIFF CHANGEING GEARS.

Just figured out why my shifter on my 02 civic was stiff, gumlike when shifting throughout gears. There is a "hip like joint" just below the shifter that appears to have worn down enough as to bind during my shifting. I blew it out with air and sprayed some white lithium on the socket an ball of this hip structure. This immediately resolved the shifting issue. This may be a tempor. Fix as this probly is the result of wear, but until then it works great!!
