Checking the auto transmission fluid level.

Is the car supposed to be running when we check the level?

well the level is 3/8 inch above the full mark when the car is running.

on a honda you check the fluid level with the car off, most others is with the car on.

ok, ill put this one to rest, check with engine off, yes i work for ford and not honda, but i am a mechanic, no not ASE, but i get paid to work on cars, i think that qualifies enough
