Steering?
Hey guys. A few days ago my steering started popping. It only does it when I turn sharp like into a parking spot. Do you'll have any suggestions on what might be causing it? My car is lowered but its been lowered for a about 6 months and the noise just started. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
P.s. I have already used the search function.

Re: Steering?
Is it the "Tong!" sound? Or something different?
If it's Tong-ing, you need to reseat your springs as they are binding. If its a grinding/popping it could be your CV axle/axles. Check and see if the boots are torn as that can be an indicator that you have axle problems.

Re: Steering?
Its the popping sound. My buddy told me it might be my cv axles but he doesn't know much about hondas so he told me to ask somebody that knows more about hondas.
Thanks for the help.

Re: Steering?
Probably your struts if they are OEM and you have alot of mileage or wear then thats probably the cause. You will have to have some one listen outside as you turn the wheel sharply like you described to pinpoint the noise more than likely you need struts.
